Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Woodbury Family Optometry, Inc./Dr. Kenneth A. Fukuda a proud provider of vision care products and services in Irvine.

Dr. Kenneth Fukuda

Dr. Fukuda was born and raised in Orange County. He attended UCLA where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, where he graduated with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. Dr. Fukuda enjoys providing eye care to the Woodbury and surrounding communities. He takes pride in helping patients of all ages achieve their optimum vision and maintaining their eye health. Areas of particular interest are dry eyes, eye strain and contact lens fits. He likes the challenge in “solving” patients’ symptoms and successfully achieving comfort for each patient. He enjoys watching all sports, particularly basketball and football, and participates in playing basketball and occasionally “attempting” to play golf and SCUBA diving. His free time is spent with his wife, Jeanette, daughter, Madelyn, and son, Trevor. He also enjoys spending time with his nephews and nieces.

Dr. Lauren Foley, Optometrist

Dr. Lauren joined the Woodbury team in 2016. She grew up in the Chicagoland area, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Iowa. She earned her Doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, graduating cum laude with clinical honors and as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, an optometric fraternity for high academic achievement. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and strives to provide comfortable, thorough examinations. Special interests include multifocal contact lens fittings for presbyopic patients and Glaucoma detection and monitoring. When not at the office, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking in the mountains, and spending time with family and friends.
